Wow…It’s been almost over a year since I last posted on this blog. It saddens me that I stopped because I don’t have documentation on so many memories that I experienced in this past year. My goal is to restart writing because I find it so healing and comforting. A safe spot for me to write freely and express the feelings I hide. This blog is also being revamped. I am no longer writing beauty reviews and have deleted all those posts. Instead, I want this blog to be a place for me. About me. A reminder on why I live. So if you were originally following me for beauty reviews/tips-thank you for your time. I will not be offended if you unfollow me.
So happy to share my latest kpop haul! I was waiting all summer for EXO to release their repackage so I could order them along with NCT 127‘s debut album. (Yes, I’m such SM trash).
This past weekend I was on a road trip to Seattle with my parents to pick up my younger brother from school! We left on Friday morning and arrived in Seattle around lunch time. Traffic wasn’t that bad.
We met up with my uncle and went to Yea’s Wok to eat lunch. We’ve dined there several times, but only for dinner. It was weird going there for lunch. We all ordered from their lunch special in which you pick an entree and it comes with your choice of soup and fried rice! I ordered the mongolian beef with hot and sour soup. It was so delicious! Their portions were generous!
I went out with my mom to this Thia restaurant called Kaow Thai for the first time. It was pretty good. We would definitely return!
We had their lunch special in which you choose an entree and it will come with two potstickers and free soda. Their menu was reasonably priced.
I had the Pad Khee Mao which was quite spicy. My mom had the pad see ew.
Overall, a really good restaurant. Loved the food!
I know this is extremely late! I’ve been really busy and haven’t had time to update my blog regularly. Be prepared for a bunch of catch-up posts!
So today’s blog post is going to be something different than my usual theme…This is going to be a kpop post!
I ordered GOT7’s Mad, GOT7’s Flight Log: Departure and Taemin’s Press It off of YesAsia. These albums were over the total of $39, granting me free shipping. I hear a lot of bad reviews about YesAsia, people saying they’re overpriced and take forever to ship. However, that is not the case for me. I’ve ordered from them probably about 10 times over the past 6 years or so, and have never had a problem. All my albums arrive within 10 days on average and in perfect condition because of the bubble wrap. As for the price, I actually don’t think it’s that bad when you compare it to other sites where they charge ridiculous shipping fees!
This Memorial weekend has definitely been one of the busiest and memorable ones!
So yesterday was my 22nd birthday. Yes, I’m officially 22, but I still look 16. Asian genes!
To celebrate, I went out to dimsum with my mom and grandparents. Then we took my grandparents grocery shopping before dropping them back at home. Funny story: Grandma forgot it was my birthday during the whole time we spent together. It wasn’t until later that night that she called me to apologize and finally realized what day it was.
I know this is late, but I was holding off on posting this for reasons that will be furthered explained in this post.
So I took my nursing license exam, NCLEX, in early morning. I honestly hardly got any sleep the night before because my mind kept wandering. I had no appetite and had to force food down.
As you may have or not have noticed, I haven’t been updating my blog regularly.
I did graduate from college earlier this month and have been busy preparing for my nursing license exam which is scheduled for this Tuesday, the 24th. I’ve been prioritizing my studying since I want to pass the first time so I took a Kaplan prep course as well as been studying constantly at home. So as soon as I take the exam a great amount of stress should be relieved
until I have to search for a job. I will find out my results within 2 days by checking online.
